E-publishing comes to Winona Court
'Storybook — Learner'  & company debuts

DENVER— A new company, founded by a veteran writer-journalist, webmaster and computer professional, opened its e-business doors here today.

Designer Webs & Electronic Publishing, Ltd with corporate headquarters at 4560 Winona Court, Suite B100, Denver, Colorado 80212-2514, is housed in a seventy-seven year-old, solid, red-brick building located in an older, established NorthWest Denver subdivision, adjacent to Berkerly Park.

The company provides two "state-of-the-net" services, needed by businesses and individuals; custom Web Site and Intranet Mastering and Computer training — of a unique kind. The Web Design service includes web authoring, web design, web site administration, HTML & script programming, and Content Creation. The training, still in development, is geared toward non computer professional PC & business software users. It's called Story-Learning®.

The Electronic Publishing Division researches, writes, publishes and distributes information and entertainment media, including original stories and serials, custom written books and business research information. Current Plans are to restrict available publications to electronic format distribution only. "We must share as much information as possible using technology, not more dead trees.", says the owner.

The company plans to publish exclusively on the World Wide Web utilizing the technologies that drive the Internet. "We don't plan on using anything that's 'on the bleeding edge of technology', just tested and reliable methods and media readable by the majority of World Wide Web Surfers & readers.

"Our mission is simple. The Publishing house provides unique information and entertainment. The Designer Webs house does custom web sites and company intranets for a reasonable investment."

The company's plans include publishing this Bi-Weekly Electronic Magazine, a series of self-help, how-to and do-it-yourself booklets, and a new kind of Computer Based Instruction that "combines the art of story telling with the science of education." says the publisher. The company's current plan is to set up at least three web sites. Each site will be devoted to one specific service. The company is this area's and the Internet's latest home-based E-Business Start-up.
